2024 Exhibitions

Positive Street Art is a leader in burgeoning exhibitions and programming nourishing and amplifying historically marginalized perspectives which are in jeopardy of erasure. PSA welcomes all peoples in these spaces and invites diverse voices; enfolding more nuanced approaches and deeply excavated intentions as the foundations for movement building.

  • Works by Jane Kaufmann. A lifelong artist of over 45 years in a variety of mediums, Kaufmann’s work in this exhibition pushes the boundaries of the cultural notions of art, materials, resourcefulness, aging, growth, and experimentation.

  • In this season’s installation, we look at what accessibility to the natural aesthetic and to Manchester itself feel and look like to people with physical and financial disabilities. The word accessible is often looked at as an additive to the ‘DEI’ intentions of organizational shifts into being more inclusive. With these artists, we take a critical lens to the throwaway ‘A.’ Is the city of Manchester looking at all of its people when thinking about  face lifts? Does the city of Manchester pay equal attention to all of its neighborhoods when it clears sidewalks of snow and debris? Do all of our state’s students get equal access to nature? Do our community members only access nature through the screen of the pocket computer? These are the questions we have been thinking about as we install and gingerly handle the works Richella and Amber Nicole have created, while thinking about both physical and existential access to the natural aesthetic.

  • This is a first in innovative, inter-organizational programming which brings fully immersive arts enrichment programming to artists from a myriad of backgrounds through the partnership of Opportunity Networks and Positive Street Art.

  • Something unforeseen and unprecedented in the recent past  is growing in New Hampshire. Internationally renowned curator and metalsmith Margaret Jacobs (Akwesasne Mohawk) and notorious rabble-rouser and multimedia artist Yasamin Safarzadeh have joined forces with Positive Street Art to establish a multi-year endeavor with a growing list of community partners to bring us one of the most happening and accessible Contemporary Indigenous exhibitions to grace this side of the Northeast.
