BOARD DIRECTOR
Ric deals with event logistics, Making sure events and workshops run smoothly is his priority. He is a power house! a builder! a dedicated problem solver, and does it all with enthusiasm. He has helped us set up and take down countless events, often building props from scratch for event set design.

Yasamin Safarzadeh
GRANT WRITER + SPECIAL PROJECTS COORDINATOR
Yasamin Safarzadeh is an Angelino, Iranian American and transplant to New England. She celebrates the intersections of cultural identities and strives to create safe spaces where an individual's sense of self can be discovered both ethically and intentionally.

Grace Kindeke
BOARD DIRECTOR
Grace Kindeke is an artist, activist and the NH Program Coordinator for the American Friends Service Committee. She is an avid reader, a B.A. student of Africana Studies and Sociology at UMASS Boston and a costume designer and dancer in Benkadi: West African Drum & Dance Company. She is a fierce advocate for justice, healing and liberation, grounding her work in a Black feminist, African-futurist and anti-oppression practice. She is the recipient of the 2017 MIT Infinite Mile Award for Community Building, the 2022 NAACP Youth Excellence in Service award, the 2023 NH Martin Luther King award and was named one of NH's 40 Under 40 in 2024. She was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and raised in New Hampshire where she currently lives with her family.

Maggie Jones
EDUCATION DIRECTOR 2012- 2014
Maggie is an effective educator, able to make art reachable for people of all ages. Whether it is her monthly Paint Socials, or her weekly education work shops, Maggie is dedicated to teaching artistic skills and techniques to any who wish to learn. Maggie is dedicated to building strong communities with an appreciation for art. Maggie currently teaches art at Nashua Senior High School South.

Tom Lopez
DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR 2012
VICE-PRESIDENT 2014-2016Tom is dedicated to building communities, and social justice. He is passionate about education, empowerment and positive self expression. Tom is an experienced community organizer and developer, as well as an artist. Tom believes in the transformative power of opportunity and and the strength of cultural diversity. He is also the Volunteer Coordinator for Gate City Community Gardens, and chair of both the Nashua Ethnic Awareness Committee, and the Greater Nashua Continuum of Care’s Employment Committee.

James has a vested interest and an unrelenting passion to improve the quality of civic life for communities through excellent design, creative planning, innovative programming, and mode-shift thinking. James was an integral part of forming PSA’s Mission and core values strategically. With his vision to more community driven initiatives and passion for projects measurable with growth for inner city communities.
